Census projections say that in 2030, the US population is projected to grow slowly and become more racially and ethnically diverse.

While Census data shows that ethnic and racial diversity has continued to increase in the US in recent years, one of the cities with the lowest diversity is in Florida: Hialeah.

That’s because Hialeah has the highest concentration of Hispanic or Latino people in the country: 95.82%.

To identify the most ethnically diverse places in America, WalletHub analyzed the country’s current cultural profile. The personal finance website compared more than 500 of the largest US cities across three key metrics: ethno-racial diversity, linguistic diversity, and birthplace diversity.

Some of the main findings are that Germantown, Maryland, has the highest racial and ethnic diversity in the country.

The first Florida city to appear on the list is Orlando, which ranked 13th position in the cities with the highest ethnic diversity.

Greenville, Mississippi, is the city with the lowest Latino population.

Brattleboro, Vermont, has the highest concentration of white people.

In terms of linguistic diversity, Hialeah is also where Spanish is spoken the most in the entire country, while in Parkersburg, West Virginia, is where the language is least spoken.

Census projections say that in 2030, the US population is projected to grow slowly due to age, and become more racially and ethnically diverse.
