Seven restaurants in Florida have made OpenTable’s list of the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in America for 2024. They run the gamut from traditional candle-lit Italian establishments to a restaurant on a private key.

The Sunshine State may be known for its casual beachfront fish tacos joints, but there are also a good share of date-night-worthy restaurants.

In fact, OpenTable included seven Florida restaurants in its list of the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in the US for 2024. The reservations site analyzed over 12 million diner reviews and metrics to find the restaurants that diners say set the scene for love.

Here are their picks:

Angelina’s Ristorante, Bonita Springs

This Italian restaurant has luxurious private booths and an award-winning wine menu. Popular dishes include Osso Buco and veal bolognese.

Bern’s Steak House, Tampa

As the most famous steakhouse in Tampa, Bern’s delivers with eight dining rooms, a seemingly endless wine list of about five hundred options, USDA Prime steaks, dry-aged at least 45-days, and a separate dessert room with 48 private booths that you can reserve for after the main course.

Bijoux, Miramar Beach

Located in Miramar Beach, just outside of Destin, this restaurant offers fresh Gulf seafood, prime steaks, and an extensive award-winning wine list. Diners rave about the Grouper Almandine, seared diver scallops, and large selection of specialty martinis.

Christini’s Ristorante Italiano, Orlando

Since 1984, this five-star restaurant on Restaurant Row has been specializing in northern Italian cuisine, including freshly made pasta dishes, veal chops, and Chilean sea bass over shrimp risotto. Live accordion music is available on select nights.

Collage Restaurant, St. Augustine

Located a block off of St. George Street in the heart of the historic district, this charming restaurant with just 15 tables serves fresh local seafood, steaks, lamb, and veal with an international twist. Homemade lobster ravioli, Black grouper, and sea scallops are among the most popular dishes.

Latitudes Key West, Sunset Key

A quick ferry ride will take you from Key West to a private island where this elegant restaurant is located. You can choose to dine indoors or al fresco with beachfront views of the Gulf of Mexico. Expect plenty of fresh seafood on the menu.

Michael’s On East, Sarasota

The 1940s supper club atmosphere, complete with a grand piano, sets the tone for this award-winning restaurant. You can also choose to dine in the glass-covered courtyard.  Choose from over 350 wines, and a varied menu that includes steak, seafood, and pasta.
