
@floricuas This week, President Joe Biden’s administration announced that $5.8 billion in funds from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will go to support new water infrastructure projects nationwide. The funding will be used to upgrade water treatment plants, water distribution and piping systems, as well as replace lead pipes—with more than $1 billion awarded this week for seven major rural water projects and another $1 billion for Great Lakes drinking water projects. “Investing in water is investing in America,” said EPA Administrator Michael Reagan.
