People in Miami are really bad about leaving stuff behind in Ubers

While Miami tops the list of the most forgetful cities, two other Florida cities made the top 10: Orlando came in at 6th place, and Tampa Bay ranked eighth.

Miami is the most “forgetful” city in the US, with passengers leaving more personal belongings behind in Ubers than residents anywhere else, according to a new study.

The eighth annual Uber Lost & Found Index lists the most forgetful cities, the items most frequently left in Ubers, as well as some of the most unique belongings passengers have forgotten. The Index also reached a few conclusions: The most forgetful day of the year is January 21, and the time most people report leaving items behind is between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. And you might be surprised to hear that the the most popular color of lost items is red.
