Catch jaw-dropping live sets from international stars of merengue, salsa, electronic music, and more at these 10 Florida music festivals.
Throughout 2025, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa—as well as smaller Florida cities like Fort Lauderdale and Gainesville—will host musical celebrations featuring international names in salsa, merengue, Latin pop, jazz, reggae, hip hop, R&B, electronic, and punk rock.
Catch this year’s iteration of longstanding national festivals like Vans Warped Tour, or opt for an international experience like the Gran Reserva Music Festival or the Montreux Jazz Festival. With festivals popping up on both coasts nearly every month of the year, there’s never a wrong time to experience a music festival in Florida.
By no means a complete list, here are 10 music festivals landing in Florida throughout 2025, from international collaborations to home-cooked productions.
1. Gasparilla Music Festival
Early bird tickets are on sale now for 2025’s Gasparilla Music Festival, held Feb.14-16 at Julian B. Lane Park in Tampa. Organized by the Florida 501(c)-3 non-profit Gasparilla Music Foundation, the festival offers national and regional acts paired with fresh cuisine from area restaurants. They’ve yet to drop this year’s lineup, but past years have seen myriad big names in music like Digable Planets, Young the Giant, and the Yonder Mountain String Band.
2. Montreux Jazz Festival
Montreux Jazz Festival brings national headliners in jazz and R&B, like Janelle Monae and Jon Batiste, to Miami Feb. 28-March 2, 2025, at The Hangar in Coconut Grove. This new festival, born just last year, also promises a star-studded show-stopper featuring Alfredo Rodriguez, Cimafunk & La Tribu, Pedrito Martinez, Robe L Ninho, Wampi, and Yissy Garcia, just to name a few. If you can peel yourself out of your seat between jaw-dropping performances, the festival also features dishes from Michelin-star chefs, music masterclasses, and its eponymous jam sessions.
3. Gran Reserva Music Festival
On March 8-9, 2025, Gran Reserva Music Festival hits Miami’s superyacht capital, Island Gardens Marina in Watson Island Park, located just east of the mainland on the MacArthur Causeway. Twelve hours of live music includes sets from Paulina Rubio and Luis Fonsi, the latter being the Latin Grammy-winning singer-songwriter who penned 2017’s inescapable hit, “Despacito.” Consider it a homecoming of sorts. Born in San Juan, Fonsi graduated from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando and Florida State University in Tallahassee. General admission tickets are available from $199.99. If you’re in the mood to splurge, platinum tickets for $599.99 offer seats at a welcome networking dinner, complimentary food and drinks all day long, and front-row access near the stage.
4. Reggae Rise Up Florida
St. Pete’s Reggae Rise Up Florida celebrates 10 years on March 13-16, 2025, at Vinoy Park. Headlining are an unlikely musical duo: Sting and Shaggy. The pair share a love of reggae rhythms—and playing each other’s hit songs—making for an unforgettable night of reconstructed earworms born on the FM waves. Other big names performing this year include Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution, and Dirty Heads.
5. Baila Conmigo Music Fest
On March 15, Miami’s Marine Stadium transforms into one huge dancefloor for Baila Conmigo, a music festival highlighting Latin stars of salsa, merengue, pop, and rock. Catch sets from Victor Manuelle, the Puerto Rican salsa singer lovingly known by his fans as El Sonero de la Juventud; Wilfrido Vargas, the Dominican band leader and trumpeter known for sharing his love of merengue with the world; and SurDeluxe, a Miami-based band who will perform a tribute to rock en Español. Tickets to Baila Conmigo are on sale now, with a 10% early bird discount offered for those who buy soon.
6. Ultra Music Festival
The international electronic music festival Ultra celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2025 with three days of booming bass and unstoppable rhythms at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. Between March 28-30, fans will be able to catch sets from longstanding giants of the genre like deadmau5, Afrojack, and NERO, as well as discover their new favorites with sets from up-and-coming talent like Adrenalize, Peekaboo, and The Purge. General admission tickets are available for $399.95, while VIP packages for $1,499.95 offer expedited entry, access to VIP restrooms and bars, and a ticket to the elevated VIP viewing deck, providing you with unencumbered views of your favorite performances.
7. Tortuga Music Festival
At Tortuga Music Festival, held at Fort Lauderdale Beach April 4-6, 2025, headliners Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, and Luke Combs will perform their country hits alongside hip hop stars like Ludacris and Shaboozey, a genre pairing that honors the growing trend of combining elements of hip-hop and country music. Beyond a simple celebration of musical styles, Tortuga was created to fund and raise awareness for future ocean conservation efforts. Festival organizers Rock The Ocean Foundation support research across the U.S., Bahamas, and South Africa on topics like sea turtles, sharks, marine mammals, coral reefs, and marine habitats.
8. BIG: Culture & Arts Festival
Held in downtown Gainesville on Saturday, April 12, 2025, BIG: Culture & Arts Festival can’t be accurately labeled as only a music festival, though there will be around 12 hours of live music offerings to choose from, spanning R&B, hip hop, electronic, rock, punk, and everything else under the sun performed by local, regional, and national acts.
BIG is more accurately described as a happening: There will be circus performers milling about, skaters giving it their all at the popup skate ramp, a wellness house offering massage and acupuncture services and skill-share sessions, not to mention local food vendors serving international fare and down South favorites. No matter what form of art you witness or take part in at BIG, you’ll be connecting with artists who either call Florida home or who hold Florida in a special place in their hearts. As conceived by Gainesville’s The How Bazar and Dion Dia Records, BIG infuses the spirit of homegrown community into the Florida music festival experience.
9. III Points
Get lost in a fantastical world of music, technology, and visual art at III Points, held Oct. 17-18, 2025, at Mana Wynwood in Miami. With a dozen stages, more than 150 artists, and performances going until 4 a.m. each night, III Points has established itself over the last decade as an immersive, exhaustive, and annual highlight for fans of hip-hop, R&B, electronic, pop, rock, and everything in between. Sets by Parliament Funkadelic featuring George Clinton, Jamie XX, Raekwon, and Horsegirl will be paired with large-scale murals, live graffiti painting, and lighting environments that just have to be experienced to be described.
