From pernil to pasteles, these five Puerto Rican establishments in Orlando and Kissimmee are offering to cater your next holiday gathering.
Are you planning a holiday party, but not in the mood to spend hours in the kitchen cooking a big meal? These restaurants, bakeries, and food trucks have got you covered. They’re offering popular holiday favorites including pernil, pasteles, arroz con gandules, and ensalada de codo.
El Cilantrillo
Between now and Jan 1, the Puerto Rican restaurant with locations in Kissimmee and Orlando, is offering a holiday tray that includes pavo asado or pernil asado, arroz con gandules or arroz cilantro, ensalada de coditos, surtido esmayao, a bottle of coquito and vanilla flan for $185. Lucy’s Puerto Rican Kitchen
This Orlando food truck is offering a dozen pasteles for $30, as well as a full tray of pernil and arroz con gandules for $287, and a half tray for $185. Grillers Puerto Rico
Now through Dec. 31, Grillers Puerto Rico, with locations in Kissimmee, Orlando, and Davendport, offers three options: $179.96 for pernil, $189.95 for pavo asado, and $199.95 for porchetta. Each option comes with arroz con gandules, ensalada de papas or coditos, flan de queso or vanilla, and one dozen pasteles, and serves approximately 10 people. Sol de Borinquen
This Kissimmee-based bakery offers catering in both Orlando and Kissimmee, including popular holiday dishes such as arroz con gandules and lechón asado. El Fogón de Munchies Boricua
Located in World of Food Trucks, in Kissimmee, El Fogón de Munchies Boricua is currently offering a tray of pernil or jamón con piña with arroz con gandules, ensalada de papas or coditos, and your choice of dessert.
