@floricuas When our correspondent Bonnie Fuller got a chance to ask Florida Rep. Anna Eskamani what she thinks about the Ziegler sex scandal, Eskamani did not hold back. Watch what she said here. If you haven’t caught up on the latest, here’s a quick rundown of what happened: Bridget Ziegler is a co-founder of the ultra-conservative, anti-government group Moms For Liberty. (She’s also a member of the Sarasota County School Board, which last month called for her resignation in a rare 4-1 vote—the single vote against was her own. She did not resign.) Her husband, Christian Ziegler, is the chairman of the Florida State Republican Party. On Monday, he was suspended because he’s been accused of rape. Bridget recently admitted to having a three-way sexual relationship with her husband and another woman. According to a search warrant affidavit, the three had another encounter planned for early October of this year, but Bridget had to bail. When Christian told the other woman, she texted him back saying she wouldn’t meet up with him without Bridget, saying, “Sorry I was in mostly for her.” A few minutes after getting the text, Christian went to the woman’s apartment and allegedly raped her. Not long after, Christian revealed that he had recorded the encounter on video—no word yet on if that video was taken with the woman’s consent.
