Attendees will have the chance to try over 30 different craft beers from local and regional breweries.

If you like beer and live in Central Florida, you won’t want to miss the annual Brews Around the Zoo on April 13, at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Garden, in Sanford.

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., attendees will have the chance to try over 30 different craft beers from local and regional breweries, including IPAs, stouts, and sours.

Some of the breweries offering samples at the event are Sanford Brewing Company, Blue Springs Brewing, and Wop’s Hops Brewing Company. There will also be a seltzer station and wine tasting.

In addition, there will be live music and food.

All proceeds will directly benefit the zoo, contributing to the work it does in animal conservation, education, and research.

There’s an option to elevate the experience with two ticket upgrades that allow visitors to enter the zoo at 4 p.m. for an extra hour to enjoy the animal exhibits and sample beers.

The VIP Experience allows early access and entry into a private VIP Zone.

Thank you for taking the time to read our work. Before you go, we hope you'll consider supporting our values-driven journalism, which has always strived to make clear what's really at stake for Floridians and our future.

Since day one, our goal here at Floricua has always been to empower people across the state with fact-based news and information. We believe that when people are armed with knowledge about what's happening in their local, state, and federal governments—including who is working on their behalf and who is actively trying to block efforts aimed at improving the daily lives of Florida families—they will be inspired to become civically engaged.
