The artist expressed hope for the people’s decision and confidence that their will will be respected. However, he also expressed his concern about whether the votes will be counted correctly and when the results will be known, since the State Election Commission has acknowledged that it is not prepared for the event.

“What is emerging is confusion and uncertainty. We have not been given assurance that the State Elections Commission is prepared for this event. An event that is four years in advance and they are not really ready. I am trying to take the day minute by minute and not despair and not start saying things that I shouldn’t. But my faith is in the people, more than in the Commission. My faith is in the people, in Puerto Ricans and in the school officials who are overseeing the votes. I trust in the people of Puerto Rico that we will make the right decision for the future of our people,” Bad Bunny told Primera Hora, while standing in line.

“I haven’t showered since Friday, just so you know,” the artist said.
