This Is Where March For Our Lives Rallies Will Be Held in Florida to Demand Gun Reform

By Mivette Vega

June 10, 2022

This Saturday several cities in the Sunshine State will host March for Our Lives events, the movement created in 2018 by student survivors of the Parkland shooting to end gun violence.

This Saturday, June 11, March for Our Lives will hold more than 400 marches in 45 states as well as an event in Washington, DC, in the wake of multiple mass shootings that have left more than 100 people dead in recent weeks, including 19 children and two teachers at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

David Hogg, survivor, activist, and founder of the movement, is also requesting people outside of the country to protest gun violence at US embassies.

Several Florida cities will host events, one of them in Parkland, where in 2018, a 19-year-old gunman killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
